Erika Martin hired as reporter for the Los Angeles based tv show, "Whipnotic", shortly after making her LARC tape.  Erika is a bi-lingual star who has reported for several programs, including MTV.


Veronica Cardenas hired as general assignment reporter at KIDK (CBS).  While at LARC, Veronica covered a protest at the Chinese consulate.  She also covered a party for pet dogs. 


LARC student Anita Bennett lands her first full time reporter job in Los Angeles.  She's now a general assignment reporter at LA City View 35.  Before getting the job, she worked as a Producer/Reporter for ReelzChannel on Direct TV.  Anita became the second LARC grad to work in Los Angeles on a nationally televised program.  While at LARC, she trained extensively on voice, appearance and presentation techniques.


Christina Hernandez hired as general assignment reporter at KBMT (ABC) Beaumont, Texas.  While at LARC, Christina covered the murder of a grocery store employee.  She also covered the historic anniversary of Canters restaurant.


Josh Haskell hired as reporter for KSNW (NBC) in Wichita, Kansas.  While at LARC, Josh covered a small, but rowdy war-protest.  He also covered a movie premiere, interviewing celebrities from hit shows such as "The Office" and "Heroes".


LARC grad Regina Orsogna lands her dream job at WRNN outside New York City.  While at LARC, Regina covered the murder of a security guard and the Oscar trophy display. 


LARC reporter Tihanna McCleese lands her dream job at KXXV (ABC) Waco, TX.  While at LARC, Tihanna covered the search for a fugitive.  She also interviewed a host of celebrities including Magic Johnson, Steve Harvey, Stephen Collins and singer Ne Yo.  Congratulations.


Tamara Jolee hired as anchor/reporter for NBC 56 and FOX 51 in Tyler, Texas.  She landed the job less than three weeks after finishing her LARC tape.  While at LARC, Tamara covered the murder of a teenager, the 1st West Coast Hip Hop awards and the Artivist Awards.  Her celebrity interviews include Ted Danson, Daryl Hannah, "Bishop" Don Magic Juan, KILO, and more.  Here's what Tamara has to say about her LARC Experience.

LARC grad Sam Dix hired as reporter for KIMO (ABC) in Fairbanks, Alaska.  While at LARC, Sam covered an apartment fire, a 7-Eleven robbery and an African cultural fair.  Sam landed the job less than 3 months after completing his LARC tape.


LARC grad Crystal Fisher begins her broadcast career as reporter at WLVT, PA (Market #68).  While at LARC, Crystal covered a murder in South LA.  She also interviewed major celebrities, including Kathy Griffin, Charlie Sheen, John Cryer, Perez Hilton and more.  Crystal didn't have to send out a single LARC tape.  Thanks to LARC's highly successful "Instant Access" program, Crystal was called for an interview before she even flew back to New York after her LARC class.  Also, Crystal is an extremely talented documentary maker.  Congrats, Star!


LARC grad Mary Taing hired as reporter at KAAL (ABC) Austin, MN.  While at LARC, Mary covered the search for two gunmen in South Central Los angeles, a Bohemian fair, the killer of a teenage boy and the premiere of a special on Steve McQueen.  Mary interviewed McQueen's son, Chad.  She also interviewed Doris Roberts from "Everybody Loves Raymond."  Mary writes,

Laura Cavanaugh hired as the morning anchor for NBC News Sunrise 5 KOBI, Medford Oregon.  While at LARC, Laura covered the search for a rapist in Compton.  She also reported on First Lady Laura Bush's red dress exhibit from the Ronald Reagan Library.


LARC grad Shibani Joshi hired as reporter for FOX Business Network.  Before landing the FOX job, she worked as a reporter for News 12 Westchester in New York City.  Shibani is the first LARC grad to work for a major US television network.


LARC graduate Hilary Golston offered Main Anchor position at WABG in Greenville, Mississippi after sending out just one LARC tape. While at LARC, Hilary interviewed Sen. John Kerry.  Big scoop for a George Washington grad!.  She also covered the search for a triple murder suspect in South Central Los Angeles.  Congrats!


LARC graduate Nikki Burdine is the newest general assignment reporter in Hagerstown, Maryland (WHAG).  While at LARC, Nikki interviewed Martin Sheen and covered a Memorial day tribute.


http://www.kJackie Reeves is the newest reporter/anchor at KTWO (CBS-ABC) in Casper, Wyoming.  While at LARC, Jackie covered a war protest in Westwood.  She also covered the send-off of the new Jet Blue plane designed for the cartoon family, "The Simpsons."  Jackie joins her NYU collegemate, Perrine Bakjshay in Casper.  Like Perrine, Jackie was hired within weeks of finishing her LARC training.


Karen Matsumoto hired as bureau reporter at KBZK in Bozeman, MT.  Before Bozeman, Karen worked as a reproter in Irvine, Ca less than a month after leaving LARC.  While in training at LARC, she interviewed Rosanne Barr, Bob Sagett, Dyan Cannon and Louis Anderson.  Karen also covered the hunt for a brazen purse snatcher who was caught on surveillance tape attacking a woman.d


Dalia Baxter is the newest reporter at WABG in Greenville, Mississippi.  While at LARC, Dalia covered the search for a murderous mother and the premiere of the "The Last Mimzy."  Dalia attended Jay Jackson's workshop at the NABJ 2006 conference and decided to chose LARC.  Click here to see the resume tape that got her the job so quickly. 


Perrine Bakhshay hired as anchor/general assignment reporter at KTWO in Casper, Wyoming.  While at LARC, Perrine covered a murder mystery in the Hollywood Hills, a massive drug and gang raid in downtown Los Angeles and the controversial plans to move a beloved elephant from the Los Angeles Zoo.  Perrine landed the job only 3 months after finishing her LARC tape. 


Debra Savage hired as General Assignment reporter at KTVO.  While at LARC, Debra covered the search for a rapist on the campus of UCLA.  She also covered the Los Angeles International Auto Show.


LARC grad Evan Kelly is the new main anchor at KYMA in Yuma, AZ.   While at LARC, Evan covered a deadly police shooting in downtown Los Angeles and the build up to the Oscar Awards in Hollywood.  Evan is the latest in a long line of LARC graduates to start their broadcast journalism careers at the anchor desk. 


Jamie Miller is the newest reporter/anchor at KNBN (NBC).  While at LARC, Jamie covered the search for 2 brazen gunmen in South Central Los Angeles.  Jamie also highlighted the re-opening of a "pocket-park" in the city of Long Beach.  Jamie was called for a job interview less than 24hours after finishing her LARC tape.  On her first interview, she landed the job.  Click here to see the tape that helped Jamie reach her goals.


LARC grad Dawn Reavis lands anchor/reporter job at Santa Clarita Valley TV.   Her LARC tape also helped her land a television role as a News Reporter on the FOX tv show "The Wedding Bells".  Dawn credits her LARC training and resume tape for her success.   While at LARC, Dawn covered the search for two attempted rapists, the premiere of "The Astronaut Farmer," where she interviewed Oscar winning actor Billy Bob Thornton, astronaut Buzz Aldrin (2nd man to walk on the moon) and she interviewed singing legend Smokey Robinson at a south central LA high school.  Dawn landed the role as news reporter less than a week after finishing her LARC tape.  Click here to see the tape that helped Dawn live her dreams.


Andrew Logsdon is the newest reporter/weekend weather anchor at KMVT (CBS).  While at LARC, Andrew covered the arrest of a school teacher accused of molesting a student.  He also covered USC football, interviewing coach Pete Carroll and other star players on the team.  Andrews says the news director saw his tape and knew Andrew was the talent he wanted.  Congratulations, Andrew!


Cathy Kim breaks into the Los Angeles market (#2 DMA) for her first job.  While at LARC, she covered the story of a murdered musician and a quiet protest at the LA Federal building.  Hired at tvK24, a nationwide network that produces news and entertainment for the Korean American community, Cathy's reports are seen around the country.  She mailed out fewere than 10 tapes before she got the job.  Congrats, Cathy.


Megan Tevrizian is the new main anchor at KCSG, in St. George, Utah.  While at LARC, Megan covered the search for an attempted rapist in South LA, a wildfire in Simi Valley and the Greater Los Angeles Auto Show.  Megan was the first LARC student to take part in the our new "Instant Access" program, in which she was called for a weekend anchor job less than 24 hours after sending out her LARC resume tape.


Michelle Velez will take over the main anchor chair at KYMA in Yuma, AZ.  While at LARC, Michelle covered the case of a suspected serial killer.  She also covered Hollywood Night Out.  Michelle is one of many LARC grads who landed their first job as an anchor.


Kristin Herold lands her first job as Morning Anchor at the FOX (KTRV) station in Boise, Idaho.  Kristin has since moved on to reporter for Hollywood.com.  While at LARC, Kristin covered a gang-shooting in East LA and a bacteria-spill along the beach of Santa Monica.


Michele Armand lands reporter job in Eugene, Oregon just a few months after completing her tape.  While at LARC, Michele covered the disappearance of a young mother, the search for a rapist in South Central LA and a ceremony for fallen soldiers.  Before choosing Eugene, Michele was offered jobs in Florida, Massachusetts and Texas.


Michael Lopez lands job as reporter for WGXA (FOX)  Michael made his resume tape at LARC studios, completing an anchor resume tape.  He worked with CBS 2/KCAL 9 anchor-reporter Dilva Henry to develop the tape.


Paul Ramirez is the newest general assignment reporter at KGET in Bakersfield, CA.  While at LARC, Paul landed an exclusive interview with the brother of a store owner who was shot to death... a murder caught on tape.  Paul also covered the 2006 Congressional Elections.


LARC grad, Adrienne Lopez, hired as primary host for the upcoming TV show, Paranormal Ventures.  While at LARC, Adrienne covered a triple-fatal hit-and-run crash and a star-studded Star presentation on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.


Carolyn Bruck is KSEE's (Fresno - NBC) newest reporter.  While at LARC, Carolyn covered the murder of a beloved pastor in Ingelwood; she landed interviews with former Los Angeles Mayor James Hahn and his successor, Antonio Villaraigosa in one night.  Carolyn also covered the Michael Jackson trial and interviewed a celebrity stunt woman.


Keith Smith is the newest weekend anchor at KNBN (NBC).  While at LARC, Keith covered the search for a child molester/kidnapper and a massive wildfire in Northern Los Angeles.


Jeff Biggs lands prime gig as the show host for the Los Angeles Clippers.  While at LARC, Jeff covered the USC Trojans, the Dodgers' race to the playoffs and NFL highlights.


 

Janet Kwak hired as general assignment reporter, then quickly promoted to anchor at KTXS (ABC) in Abilene, TX.  While at LARC, Janet covered the search for a group of murderous robbers in the San Fernando Valley.  Janet also covered the premiere of "Carpool Guy" interviewing Corbin Bernsen and Tony Geary of General Hospital.


Pamela Brown hired as general assignment reporter for News Channel 8/ABC in Washington, D.C. (market #8) less than a week after completing her LARC tape.  While at LARC she covered a sting operation, the search for a murderer, the premiere of "Barnyard" where she interviewed Courtney Cox Arquette, Andi MacDowell, Sam Elliot and Kevin James. She also covered the anniversary of Air Force One 27,000 at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.  The following is a quote from ABC/News Channel 8 Vice President that appeared in a Washington Post article.  He talks about Pamela being hired in D.C. for her first reporting job.

"We do have a number of entry-level positions, but it's unusual for it to be an on-air position," Lord acknowledged. "She had a very good tape. She's very poised on the air. She has a lot of abilities that indicate she's going to be a very strong player."

Michele Fralic is the newest general assigment reporter at KREX in Grand Junction, Colorado.  While at LARC Michele covered a brazen robbery, a deadly windstorm and a destructive rainstorm.  She also interviewed Woody Allen, Chris Rock, Scarlett Johansson, just to name a few at the star studded premiere of the movie "Match Point".


Keisha Burns hired as weekend anchor at KGWN in Cheyenne, Wyoming.  Now she's at her dream job in Bend, Oregon as the wekeend weathercaster and anchor.  Keisha sent out fewer than 20 tapes before landing her job.  While at LARC, Keisha covered the landmark immigrant rights protest, the opening of an Oscar outfit party and the burning of a downtown Los Angeles warehouse.  


Ashley Fielder hired as weekend anchor in Colorado Springs.  She makes the move from Rapide City, where she worked as weekend anchor.  While at LARC, Ashley covered a street murder, a deadly S.W.A.T. standoff and the historic North Hollywood Street Festival.


Noelle Gardner moves to Amarrillo, TX, KFDA, after landing main anchor job in Eureka, CA with her LARC tape.  While at LARC, Noelle covered a serial robber, a Police Christmas giveaway, a Pasadena murder, a shooting in Koreatown and she interviewed State Senator Richard Alarcon. Noelle is now the noon anchor at KFDA (CBS).


Rebecca Wachtel hired as reporter/anchor in Ephrata, PA (Cable-11).  Rebecca covered a huge war protest in Hollywood, a collapsed building simulation, she interviewed Cindy Crawford, Diana Ross, Mya and she covered the Michael Jackson trial.


Auburn Hutton hired as Rapid City, SD reporter.  For LARC, she covered a quadruple gang stabbing, a serial slasher and a state-of-the-art rock climbing gym.  Auburn also worked as a political correspondent for Political TV based in Los Angeles, CA.  Auburn has gone on to KOLO in Reno, Nevada where she was hired as a general assignment reporter.


Chie Saito hired as general assignment reporter in Kalispell, Montana after sending out fewer than 15 tapes. She was immediately promoted to main anchor. For LARC, Chie covered a serial robber stalking students at UCLA.  She also featured Hollywood street performers. 


Kacey Montoya hired as reporter/anchor in Portland, Oregon just three years after leaving LARC.  Kacey was hired as anchor in W. Virgina just 2 weeks after finishing her LARC tape. She has moved on to anchor the morning news at CBS in Palm Springs, CA. While at LARC, Kacey covered the Ronald Reagan funeral, an LAPD shooting and the clean-up of Hollywood.  Kacey recently won an Emmy award for Best Morning News.


Havonnah Johnson hired as reporter/anchor in Jackson, Mississippi, WAPT (ABC).  Havonnah covered a wild high-speed police chase, an emotional school protest and the historic San Fernando Valley Fair.

 

Sherry Hatamiya hired as morning anchor in Flagstaff, Arizona (KNAZ- NBC)) less than 2 months after LARC.  Sherry now works as a reporter at KGET in Bakersfield, CA.  She covered the murder of a musician, the Cinderella movie premiere and the LA Mexican Heritiage celebration.  Sherry has moved on to KGET in Bakersfield, CA.


Holly Fowlkes hired as reporter in Cheyenne, Wyoming (KGWN - CBS).  For LARC, she covered a rally for Howard Dean, the search for a serial rapist and the spread of file-sharing.


Christine Troung hired as reporter in Hawthorn, CA just two days after leaving LARC.  She has also produced and reported for KEYT in Santa Barbara, CA.  Christine covered LA's historic supermarket strike, the recall of Gov. Gray Davis and a dangerous wild-fire in Burbank.


Stephanie Herrera offered reporter job in Amarillo, TX less than 4 months after leaving LARC.  She covered the LA supermarket strike, the Michael Jackson trial and the murder/suicide of a couple in Sherman Oaks.


Rontonio Thurman hired as General Assignment reporter in Albany, GA (WFXL - Fox).  Rontonio was called for nearly a half-dozen interviews before accepting the reporter job.  While at LARC, he covered an emtional race-riot protest, the LA County Shelter annual dog show and a unique video game art display where he interviewed singer Gerardo, of "Rico Suave" fame.


Carole Carr hired as Reporter/Anchor in Columbus, MS.  While at LARC, Carole covered a S.W.A.T standoff in Hollywood.  She intervied actor/comedian Martin Lawrence at the premiere of his latest movie, and interviewed Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and comedian Cheech Marin at an East LA art exhibit.  Carolyn has now moved on to Jackson, Mississippi where she works as a reporter at WJTV (CBS).


Jacqueline Bennett is the newest general assignment reporter in Boise, Idaho.  While at LARC, Jacqueline covered the return of the NHL, interviewing hockey great Luc Robitaille.  She also interviewed LA's powerful police chief, Bill Bratton, during an emotional fundraiser to help "at-risk" kids.  Congratulations, Jacqueline.  You never gave up!


LARC grad Ruth Eggett chosen as conference reporter at the Asian American Journalist Association national convention (2004).  Hundreds of candidates sought the position, but Ruth's LARC tape got her the position.  While at LARC, Ruth covered a prison break in downtown Los Angeles, a hit-and-run crash, a movie premiere where she interviewed Oscar winning actor Martin Landau and the Michael Jackson trial.


Elizabeth Yi hired as anchor/reporter in Yuma, Arizona two weeks after LARC.  Liz covered a rape case, a major brush fire and the Schwarzenegger campaign for Cal. Governor.
